David Post is the founder of Center for Access to Justice in Salisbury, and newly elected City Councilman. His goal was simple, to make legal services and aid equally accessible to those who could not afford an attorney. David feels that the spirit of pro bono legal work is eloquently described by the former United States Supreme Court Justice Lewis F. Powell, Jr.:

Equal Justice under law is not merely a caption on the facade of the Supreme Court Building, it is perhaps the most inspiring ideal of our society… it is fundamental that justice should be the same, in substance and availability, without regard to economic status.”

David has been a lawyer in private practice for close to 40 years, and has had his hands on cases such as real estate, tax, corporate, estate planning, and much more. He also worked as legal counsel with two United State Senators, and as in house counsel for a bank.
