RULE OF RESPONSIBILITY 6.1 VOLUNTARY PRO BONO SERVICE

Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide legal services to those unable to pay. A lawyer should aspire to render at least 50  hours of pro bono publico legal services per year.

The Center for Access to Justice CAJ provides both pro bono legal services and referrals to other lawyers who will provide legal services to persons and charitable organizations with limited financial means. Areas of practice include, among others, the following:

  • Housing & Landlord-tenants
  • Consumer Protection
  • Debt Collector Problems
  • Family Law and Custody
  • Divorce
  • Tax Preparation
  • Registation for Obamacare.
